How is the camp structured?
The sessions are delivered to small groups of up to 10 students and are split where possible by ability level. All of our camps include two assessments per subject/module so we are able to measure progress. Progress data is available after the camp. Camps are delivered by qualified teachers.
GCSE subjects, as much as possible, are split based on ability level and/or tier group. If there are not enough pupils at the same level we will provide differentiated work and teaching within the group. At A level we offer separate courses which are appropriate for AS and A level pupils for most main exam boards.
Our year 10 summer camps are ideal for pupils to brush up on subjects prior to the start of the next academic year and feature reconciliation of year 10 topics as well as an introduction to some year 11 topics. Get a head start and stop the summer learning slide prior to the start of the most important academic year so far.
The courses feature a morning of structured revision in the subject followed by an afternoon of projects and interactive group work focused around the subject.
Our A level summer camps are 1 day exam focused camps and feature reconciliation of year 12 topics and are relevant for the following exam boards – Maths – Edexcel, Physics – AQA, Chemistry – OCR, Biology – OCR. They are a full day of structured revision.
